Erich Buck is a partner and shareholder at Adelman & Gettleman, Ltd., where he represents corporate and individual debtors and creditors in all aspects of insolvency and bankruptcy, including workouts, assignments for the benefit of creditors, asset sales and purchases, liquidations, reorganizations and bankruptcy litigation. Erich has represented clients in a wide array of industries, most recently representing chapter 11 debtors in information technology, retail and manufacturing.
Erich is a 1997 graduate of Northwestern University and a 2001 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law. While attending the University of Iowa, he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice. Upon graduating law school, Erich served two years as law clerk to the Honorable Carol A. Doyle of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to joining Adelman & Gettleman, Erich was an associate at Reed Smith LLP (formerly Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd.), where his practice focused primarily on creditors' rights litigation.
